Body Ache

is what I have now and a cough too! Still tired from cleaning up the house yesterday. The water subsided only yesterday afternoon, It was really hard cleaning up the mess trying to fix things up but it's nothing compared to what other people have gone through. We were still blessed. I am now here at the office but some of our officemates were absent since they are greatly affected by the flood. Thanks to those who gave words of encouragement, prayed and wished us safety.

Happy Marriage

I recently had the chance to chat with a friend the other day, it was 5 years ago since we last saw each other we really did enjoy catching up on each other's lives. She was doing great career wise and will be getting married by next year. I feel happy for her. I remember during our college years when we were talking about our " future" and hat includes settling down and getting married. Exchanging ideas on our dream weddings. She wanted a garden wedding and I want a beach one. But now, she will soon be enjoying the destination weddings she had long been dreaming of and I am invited to her her wedding, I am happy for her and of course very excited to attend see how grand the wedding will be.

Home Based Business For Me

I am contemplating on resigning from my day job, but still skeptical if I will be able to make ends meet if ever. I am in search for a business that is home based so that I will still have time to attend to my family's need. An 8-5 job is quite a stress for me, but have keep it for quite a while. I searched businesses that will be beneficial for the family and the vending machines business seems to be the answer as it looks so promising as a source of income. Tragic Experience from Storm Ondoy

We were so surprised how fast the flood water increases yesterday in a matter of no less than an hour, we were already in panic as we saw that most of the appliances and furnitures are floating already. Nobody expected that it will happen that fast. To think that we have elevated them on a higher level, but the flood had tremendously increase and boy it's raining non stop for a couple of hours. We were not prepared and so does everybody! It was such a tragic experience. But we still feel so lucky as we were all safe and sound. The dirt and mess that the storm "Ondoy" left us is bearable. Lives is far more important than everything else. We feel for those people who are greatly affected, most especially those who were at their roof top, seeking for help and refuge.

Back To School

Its been almost 9 years since I graduated from college, I miss studying again. The feeling of being a student, the rush and cramming days of reviews whenever examination days are coming. Oh those were the days! glory days of being a student. But I, contemplating on getting back to school is somewhat of different level now. I wanted to take my masters in one of the online university that I searched on the net. I don't want to give up my day job that is why I opt to take the online class if ever since Capella University (www.capella.edu) is an accredited, fully online university and the leading online graduate school for working adults. I could still work while I study! It's just a matter of time management on my part. I hope I will be able to pursue this one as I really wanted to take another level up on my education.

Still Sleepy

because I only slept for three hours since I woke up very early to wait for the "rain to pour down" awhile ago. Good thing I was able to catch some. Ahaha. I feel productive since I was able to tend my 2 farms, clean my tank, play with my pet, dance with friend in yoville.. bwahaha! apps in facebook are really getting into me. Did some EC and agitized dropping too. Will go offline in a little while to do the laundry and will be going to my parents place before lunch. be back later in the afternoon. Where Have I Been?!

Pardon for the lack of personal updates here. I was just around lurking at your blogs. Ahahaha. Oh well, I have been wasting time doing online window shopping. I have been drooling on too many goodies but only to be disappointed since I have no funds for purchasing those. But I hope Santa will be nice to me this Christmas.

The little girl is doing great in school now, The PTA meeting will be this Saturday and distribution of their report card too. We'll see if she's included again on the top ten list. She can now read faster though she still commits mistakes of pronouncing some words which I think is just fine at this time. I would always ask her to read aloud the instructions while we are doing her assignments, and her handwriting have improved a lot. I ask her to write in big and fat letters so it will be readable but she told me na " di daw maganda yung ganon" She now writes in thin but readable letters though she kept on experimenting on her handwriting. paiba-iba ang sulat. ahaha.

Nicco, the little boy on the other hand is very talkative and speaks more clearly now, very inquisitive and hyper active! he would always walk with me in the morning as I go to the office, we will be waiting for Daddy( who went to send her Ate Gabby to school) to arrive near the jeepney stop to pick him up and goes back home. This weekend we'll be going to my parent's place again as my sister will be celebrating her 34th birthday. kids are excited to see their cousin again.

Very Good Grades

of the little girl that is! was late posting this one as I kept on keeping this on my pending to do's. It's been almost three weeks, but its still worth a post so here it is! Oh well, little girl got her reward for this one. She just asked for the hello kitty collectibles from Mc Do and she was already one happy kid! Another reward she wanted was a kiddie value meal from Jollibee this time. She all got this from watching TV... She would take note of the commercials of these two.. Ahaha... Last night while DH was writing the lists of things to buy for our trip to the grocery later. She asked her Daddy to put the word TOYS in the list. LOL. DH of course happily obliged. She even checked and ask for the list if it was really written, we can't fool her as she can now read very well. Oh kids!

For Football Fanatics

I remember my childhood years with my friends when we used to play different kinds of games till we drop dead tired. Those were the times where active playing got the kids as computers and internet games were not yet introduced yet, Of course this was the most healthy way to exercise and help kids to become more interactive with their playmates. We always play football games every afternoon and our play area would be the large street near our house. Oh those were the days! and its such a delight reminiscing childhood years. Now that we are all grown up, we still catch up on each other once in awhile and our dear friend J who develop his passion for football and who used to play at San Beda since his elementary days were definitely updated with the Miami Dolphins Tickets that I saw on the web and I was right as I buzz him over at YM to ask if he already got one and told me with a big yes. On Sports Activity

I am pushing DH to get involved into some physical activities now that he rarely does exercise. Being a diabetic person that he is, exercise balances everything as well as the food the he's taking too. he's much into basketball before, but when I gave birth to our 2 kids things have changed upside down. Our time has been solely dedicated to them. But now that they are quite grown up, We both can now have our so called "me" time every once in awhile. DH is contemplating if he would try out playing paintball and other battle games using airsoft guns as it got his attention while watching a late night show introducing new sports activities that men will surely enjoy. This sounds good as it would be healthier for them rather than having a drinking sessions with friends.

I was blinded by negative emotions that wallow me, letting me fall in the pits of self pity and worst is self destruction. But somehow, somewhere.... God always find way to let me feel that I am not alone... That life is beautiful despite the ugly things coming my way. There are just many productive things to do and look into rather than to sulk from that little corner I am building away from other people. Such a waste of time! Its just nothing but natural to be emotional at times, but its no longer healthy to stay that way for such a long time... Move on and get on the next level, leave that negative thoughts and feelings behind and look forward to a more beautiful and pleasant things in store for you. As they say, he who always look back with regret can never look forward to a promising future ahead. I was busy finishing some of my online tasks yesterday as I was in hurry because I have a limited online time- just using a prepaid kit to get connected to the internet and hardly noticed when the little girl went beside me while I was busy in front of the computer and threw this folded little paper at my keyboard. I thought it was just nothing but a piece of trash, but she told me to open it. And here's what written........

Saturday Madness!

I've been fuming mad at Globelines Telecoms! last Thursday, DH texted me before lunch that our internet and landline got disconnected. He immediately went to a nearby pay phone to report the incident, an added cost to our part you see! And so I did email the customer support too and make a follow up, but come awhile ago when I went to Megamall to buy a Smart bro prepaid kit so I could still go online and do my online tasks since I know that restoration will not be happening soon (it took a month and a week before they did take action on our previously reported disconnection incident out of nowhere) I went to nearby Globelines Center and did make a follow up again. Upon checking my telephone number, the CSR told me that it was only reported this morning. It means that the CSR that attended to DH queries didn't submit our reported complaint. What kind of customer service is that?! I wanted to scream and make scene at that time, but thank God I was able to get hold of it. All we could do now is to wait again, as to when? that I could not answer. Atleast I now have a back up tool to get connected to the internet anytime. thanks to my online friends for the suggestion. I immediately went outside and search the department store to find a nice cocktail dress that my niece will be needing for their personality development class. I even searched online and found some good designs at stylehive.com, I will be asking later my niece to look at it and ask if we could just order online.
