Weekend Recap

Friday last week, DH asked me to go straight to our parents place in Sampaloc as the kids were requesting that they wanted to see cousin Dwayne. They went there around afternoon and DH bought pansit malabon and Pan De Manila bread as pasalubong.I arrived at around 6 p.m and had a little chit chat with my sister as Nanay wasn't around yet. We went to SM Hypermarket near JRU along Shaw blvd. to do some grocery. Too bad I wasn't able to watch the "May Bukas Pa" ending. tsk! tsk! Did stay up late that night and slept around 2 a.m.

Saturday morning, I was nursing a headache as I woke up. Oh boy! it was terrible indeed as I can't get up from bed. I was only able to laundry clothes before lunch. Slept the whole afternoon with kids. Sunday morning was spent with laundry again and ironing of clothes after. We went to Robinsons Pioneer before lunch to buy some grocery again and electric kettle, had lunch at Mongolian quick stop, we had mongolian beef, spicy squid pasta, friend tofu and ice cream for dessert, love their mongolian burger. Wasn't able to take snap of the foods that we had as we weren't able to brought along the digicam with us. We went home around 1 p.m and I slept again from 1:30 to 5 p.m. See how sleepy head I am? lol! Now I am fully charged and was able to catch up on my sleepless nights... have a great week ahead!!!

Be Cautious

We have always been reminded to take extra precautions every time we go out. Especially when I am at work as I do always go out the office to do some errands like doing some banking transactions and going to some government offices. There are times that I almost got hit by some cars passing by as I cross streets, some drivers are just too stubborn and inconsiderate to some pedestrians. It seems as if they don't see you around. There are now lots of cases with road accidents especially involving motorcycles, just last week one, a friend of mine had an accident and he's having a hard time dealing with the other party involved. He was even threatened to be sent to jail, only if we have the services of the Nebraska Accident Attorneys here, his case would definitely be given a proper assistance as they specializes in vehicle accidents case. We really need to be careful to avoid road accidents.

In Seven Days

I will be turning a year older again, and my age won't be included in the calendar days anymore. So now you know my age. lol!Oh well, I don't have any plans for a party because Gabby's field trip scheduled were moved on that day. We might just go and eat out on weekends. DH told me that he will making a blue berry cheese cake! I have been long requesting for him to do that, lets wait if he''l be able to make one for me on my birthday. I am just really thankful to God for all the blessings that he has given me. I hope and pray for another fruitful year for me ahead, good health for me and my family.

Good Grades

The results of my little daughters 3rd quarter exams are marked very good as I saw it posted in her assignment notebook. Our review sessions really paid off. The teacher also said that her reading skills are excellent. I am really one proud mom! She really loves reading now as she would even memorize her story books, she would ask me to put on the cd of her disney princess story book while she reads along with it. She is now definitely ready for the big school next year.

Investing on Gold

With too many projects that we have for this year, I am praying hard that we will have enough moohla to support them. Added to the expenses are kids education. Yes, both of my kids are going to school next year. Gabby will be in her elementary and Nicco in nursery, and we all know how high are the cost of tuition fees nowadays. But we are still trying to include the plan on putting up on some investments like buy gold bullion. We all know how valuable golds are since it has been known for its appreciating value.
