A young man was getting ready to graduate from college.
For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer’s showroom
and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.
As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had
purchased the car.

Finally, on the morning of his graduation his father called him into his private study.
His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him.
He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box.
Curious, but somewhat disappointed, the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible, with the young man’s name embossed in gold.
Angrily, he raised his voice to his father and said,
“With all your money you give me a Bible?”
And stormed out of the house, leaving the Bible.

Many years passed and the young man was very
successful in business.
He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old and thought perhaps he should go to him.
He had not seen him since that graduation day.
Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son.
He needed to come home immediately and take care of things.
When he arrived at his father’s house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart.

He began to search through his father’s important papers and saw the still
new Bible, just as he had left it years ago.
With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages.
His father had carefully underlined a verse, Matt 7:11,
“And if ye, being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly father which is in heaven, give to those who ask Him?”
As he read those words, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible.
It had a tag with the dealer’s name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired.
On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words…
PAID IN FULL.

How many times do we miss God’s blessing because they are not packaged as we expected? I trust you enjoyed this. Pass it on to others. Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for…

I know that today is San Juan Day! but I didn't know that I will be going to office as if I was just about off from taking a shower in our bathroom. Para akong sinalanta ni "Frank" .

I looked like this upon arriving at our office...

We were splashed with water along Aurora Blvd. up to near Broadway Centrum by men with piles of water on their hands... the only good thing about it is I got splashed with clean water unlike other passengers who received splashes of water from dirty canals. eeeeeww...... too bad i forgot to take the LRT instead of PUJ.... oh my!

Thanks to the electric fan for drying off my shirt and pants for almost 2 hours including my undies! how's that naman di ba?!.... grrrr...

1. Today I feel very— slouchy. I want to lie down and sleep. kaso nasa office ako! hehehe

24 Hours Of My Day!

How do i spend my day?! hmmn... this seems like a tag. hahaha! anyway, you can snag this if you want! nyahaha. just want to share how I spend my day. and here it goes....

5:00 am - Wake up time. thanks to the alarm clock!

5:15 a.m - Go downstairs and wash Nicco's feeding bottles, make myself a cup of coffee

5:30 a.m - Watch early morning show "Unang Hirit" while preparing dress for office and Gabby's Uniform.

6:00 am - My bath time!

6:20 a.m- prepare my and Gabby's things.

6:30 a.m - Gabby's bath time! Wake Daddy and ask him to prepare my baon as well as gabbys'

6:45 a.m - Eat breakfast. Change Nicco's nappy if he's already awake.

7:00-7:15 - kiss Nicco goodbye while Daddy brings Gabby to her school.

8:00 a.m - Clocks in at the office

8:15 a.m - check email, blogs, do some blog hop. surf the net hehehehehe. receive calls if there's any.

9:00 a.m - Go to bank for some banking transactions

10:00 a.m - goes online again and do some blog hopping. If and when there are no pending works to do, continue blogging. hehehe

12:00 a.m- Lunch break

1:00 p.m - work while blog in between... :)

5:00 p.m - clocks out...

5:50 p.m- 6:15 p.m - arrives home and hear the kids shouting "Andito na si Mama" while daddy cooks.

6:15-6:30 p.m - rest for awhile and watch t.v

6:30 p.m - Dinner while chatting with hubby for updates on how the day went with him and the kids, then wash Nicco's feeding bottles.

7:00 p.m - play time with kids while I laundry some of nicco's briefs and shorts. he only wears nappy at night.

7:30 pm - Kid's bath time

8:00 p.m - study time with Gabby

8:30 p.m - watch t.v! kids loves Dyesebel.

9:00 p.m - Gabby sleeps already by this time while Nicco is still wide awake and making kulit with us. Sometimes (most of the time) both of them makes kulit (disturb) their cousins from studying.

9:15 p.m- My bath time! can't sleep without taking a bath first :)

10:00 p.m - lights off! sometimes, I do sleep ahead of the three! daddy takes care/plays with the kids while I'm already off to the dreamland! HAHAHA. and sometimes we do take midnight snack whenever everybody's wide awake.

and the cycles goes on and on...

Sometimes, no matter how careful we are in our downloads from the net, those annoying virus and spywares can still find ways to in attacking our computers. so we need to take extra more precautions to have a safe and secure computer.

I've been convincing my brother to replace his old cellphone as I think he really needs to have a new one wherein he won't be having problems using it. You see, he can't even place a call on it since you can't hear the voice from the other line. It doesn't even suit his personality as it was merely for a text and call function unlike new cellphones that we have nowadays where a phone is just like your pc on hand, musics in it, videos, and so many other functions.

I found Tiga Dua Cellular and would definitely tell my brother to check it out as it would be the solutions to his problems regarding his cellphone. I myself was really excited as I saw that the prices are really low, that is because they do not maintain a physical and electronics gadget shop with expensive rentals and staff cost. I guess it's now time for online shopping! No hazard as you will be having a safe shopping unlike when you go to place somewhere where they sel lproducts that the quality is questionable.

My kinder 1 student

All is set for little girl's school things this coming June 15. she is already excited as she thought that she will be going to school this morning. We told her that she still got a week before her classes starts. her class sched. is 7:30 am - 10:30 a.m.

We got her low cut bootsie boots at only P300.00 from the original P800.00 price of Minnie Mouse's Disney shoe collection at Robinson's Pioneer.
she wanted to have boots this time as her school shoes.

Was able to put plastic cover on her books last friday, notebooks left uncover yet as I need to get the subjects and put numberings to label it.

Good thing that she still have spare crayons and unused water colors last year that she can still use this time. her school materials only costs less that P500.00 bucks.

Kiddie rides

I'm sure all parents will agree with me that kids are really a great fan of these kiddie rides at the malls.

it's a must for them for a stop over at kiddie play area to take these rides and have a round or two.

The joy and excitement can be seen in their eyes. Kids happiness are priceless!

On Being a Mom

A question from Vannie.

Question: What I love most about being a mom.

Despite the messy and cluttered toys all over the room, the stress and problems associated with everyday circumstances -

I've felt that a sense of emptiness inside me was filled in when I became mom.
I love getting pure and innocent sweet gestures from my children.
I love to hear when Gabby says "Mama, mahal na mahal kita" as in with matching beautiful eyes and kiss pa.
I love to hear when Nicco shouts "Mamaaaaa.. " whenever I arrive at home from work. You could see the pure excitement in his eyes.
I love learning with them as i teach Gabby to do her assignments, I almost forgot the uses of the prepositions"At, In, On" not until Gabby illustrated to me those meanings.
I love those bonding time moments- group kiss, group hug, chit chats before we sleep.
I get to have a good massage from Ian, Gabby and Nicco whenever I needed one. Gabby will ask, "you're tired mama? masahe ka namin gusto mo?"
I am Happy that I am raising a very lovable and bright kids with hubby's help, I feel so proud that he's a hands on daddy to our children.
Indeed, the essence of a woman is by becoming a mother. I am proud and happy being a mom.
