You are fitter than most people but likely not as fit as you want to be. You do your best to work out, but you probably don't do it as much as you like. Maybe you need to do mini-workouts throughout the day to fit in exercise. Or maybe you need a whole new activity to motivate you. No matter what, you should get moving! |

The Quest For Best Deals
School Days are Here Again
On Monday will be the opening of school year 2009-2010 class for most of the students, some of them will be on the second week, my daughter is pretty excited already as she turns Kinder Senior this time. Its a good thing that we were able to buy her school stuffs' a month ago that we don't even have to beat the last minute syndrome, cramming that is! lol.
As we were watching news last night, they had featured those boarding houses located at the University belt wherein authorities are checking the safety of the building premises and if their fire exits are properly maintained, too bad that a lot of them failed to pass the standards in putting up their exit signs. Most of the places they visited are too narrow and is not conducive for students to lodge.
EXIT SIGNS are very important during emergency cases so that people could easily find the way out and secure themselves out of fire or some danger that are risky for ones safety. exit sign should be properly place and should pass quality standard in accordance to law, it is definitely essential for them to follow it so as not to be sorry in the end. We should never put the student's lives into risk by being neglectful and fulfilling our duties and responsibilities as their landlords.

On Shifting Career
>> 5/28/2009
For my mom still can not afford the high rocketing price of his previous course's tuition fee and other miscellaneous fee. So his decision to take up and enroll in a technical school would definitely be a wise decision and more practical, as we all know that there is a great opportunities for those who went to these school and their skills are really sharpen. electrician careers are widely in demand nowadays especially abroad, that's why a lot of our skilled workers here are very thankful for many opportunities for them to prove and be able to work in a different environment outside the country, wherein their salaries there is really worth the sacrifice.
Ecotools Brushes and NYX Loot

Next in line would be the 6 piece brush set plus the retractable kabuki brush.

Fashionable Athletic Shoes
I am falling in love with mineral make ups lately, just so the feeling of wanted to collect every MMU brushes I saw online is really hard to resist. Hubby has been warning me since he knew that I can't use all of those brushes that I kept ordering online. Oh well I just love collecting those even if I am not a make up artist. I guess every woman feels the same, either with bags or clothes right?! But come to think of it, hubby's also into having too many rubber shoes on our shoe rack, I only got four pairs of shoes. 2 pieces for office and formal occasion and 2 sandals, I even don't have a rubber shoes. But hubby got 20 pairs of his and so I told him that hey, you can't even wear all your rubber shoes at the same time. lol! His favorite among the rubbers he got is the Adidas shoes, he's not that athletic type though he plays basketball and would wear one of his athletic shoes that according to him is ultra comfy to wear and very light on his feet which makes it comfortable for him as he plays the basketball. Come weekend, we'll be heading to mall and DH will surely be looking for some discount shoes to add up to his collections.

It's quite stressful whenever a love ones got sick or hospitalized, for there are many factors that you need to go through the process. There are times when you just don't know what to do anymore. ... and I have experienced it all yesterday, all but misfortunes that is! I just hope that it won't happen again or I'll really loose my senses. First, I wasn't able to grab opps online, and so it means less earning for me. Second, the money that I have long been waiting for might not get into my hands again, before it got reversed and now it seems like slipping again from me. What actually happened is that I asked a favor from my office mate if I could transfer my paypal funds to her account and I'm glad she was very kind to accommodate my request. It took a week to reflect on her account, come yesterday after office hours, she withdrawn the money in a nearby atm machine and I waited outside the atm booth, but to my surprise she told me that the money was eaten up by the atm machine. She immediately filed a complaint and the bank officer told her that it would took 2 days to reflect on her account again. There is nothing we could do but wait, just this morning she told me that the atm got lost, she couldn't remember how it happened. Can you see how unlucky I am?! I don't blame her for what happened because I know that nobody wants to engage in a complicated situation. And I was the one who asked the favor from her. She have already reported it and will file a request for a new card and will have to withdraw the money over the counter tomorrow. *crossing my fingers" hope that tomorrow everything will turn out fine. I badly need the money eh.

Being A MOM
>> 5/10/2009
We are sitting at lunch one day when my daughter casually mentions that she and her husband are thinking of "starting a family."you think I should have a baby?"
"It will change your life," I say, carefully keeping my tone neutral.
"I know," she says, "no more sleeping in on weekends, no more spontaneous vacations ..."
But that is not what I meant at all. I look at my daughter, trying to decide what to tell her. I want her to know what she will never learn in childbirth classes. I want to tell her that the physical wounds of child bearing will heal, but becoming a mother will leave her with an emotional wound so raw that she will forever be vulnerable.
I consider warning her that she will never again read a newspaper without asking, "What if that had been MY child?" That every plane crash, every house fire will haunt her. That when she sees pictures of starving children, she will wonder if anything could be worse than watching your child die.
I look at her carefully manicured nails and stylish suit and think that no matter how sophisticated she is, becoming a mother will reduce her to the primitive level of a bear protecting her cub. That an urgent call of "Mom!" will cause her to drop a soufflé or her best crystal without a moment's hesitation. I feel that I should warn her that no matter how many years she has invested in her career, she will be professionally derailed by motherhood. She might arrange for childcare, but one day she will be going into an important business meeting and she will think of her baby's sweet smell. She will have to use every ounce of discipline to keep from running home, just to make sure her baby is all right.
I want my daughter to know that every day decisions will no longer be routine. That a five year old boy's desire to go to the men's room rather than the women's at McDonald's will become a major dilemma. That right there, in the midst of clattering trays and screaming children, issues of independence and gender identity will be weighed against the prospect that a child molester may be lurking in that restroom. However decisive she may be at the office, she will second-guess herself constantly as a mother.
Looking at my attractive daughter, I want to assure her that eventually she will shed the pounds of pregnancy, but she will never feel the same about herself. That her life, now so important, will be of less value to her once she has a child. That she would give it up in moment to save her offspring, but will also begin to hope for more years-not to accomplish her own dreams, but to watch her child accomplish theirs. I want her to know that a cesarean scar or shiny stretch marks will become badges of honor. My daughter's relationship with her husband will change, but not in the way she thinks. I wish she could understand how much more you can love a man who is careful to powder the baby or who never hesitates to play with his child. I think she should know that she will fall in love with him again for reasons she would now find very unromantic.
I wish my daughter could sense the bond she will feel with women throughout history who have tried to stop war, prejudice and drunk driving. I hope she will understand why I can think rationally about most issues, but become temporarily insane when I discuss the threat of nuclear war to my children's future.
I want to describe to my daughter the exhilaration of seeing your child learn to ride a bike. I want to capture for her the belly laugh of a baby who is touching the soft fur of a dog or cat for the first time. I want her to taste the joy that is so real it actually hurts. My daughter's quizzical look makes me realize that tears have formed in my eyes.
"You'll never regret it," I finally say. Then I reached across the table, squeezed my daughter's hand and offered a silent prayer for her, and for me, and for all the mere mortal women who stumble their way into this most wonderful of callings. This blessed gift from God ... that of being a Mother.
Please share this with a Mom that you know or all of your girlfriends who may someday be moms.
