Couldn't help but feel helpless and so annoyed with those people who invented virus! grrr...

Here are some of the inside pages. I envy those who are into scrapping since they have made a very nice photobooks. All I did here was to drag and drop images into a premade themed. LOL! .

Searching For A Good Host

>> 12/24/2008

By January next year is my first year anniversary of blogging. Yeah, it's been quite sometime and I must say that I have really enjoyed it. least to say the perks that goes along with blogging. Meeting new friends online, learning new things and gaining more knowledge, online shopping :) and of course earning while blogging.

At first, I only have little knowledge when it comes to blogging. All I knew was just to sign-up and continuously blog. But with the help of fellow bloggers and endless research over the net I get to learn that there are many factors to consider when one decides to let his or her blog grow in this world wide web. I get to learn that it is a plus point if your blog doesn't just go with the typical sub domain hosts.

Most importantly, If you want to let your business penetrate the online world. With the likes of setting up an online shop or wanting to promote your business. web hosting is definitely a must. It is like hiring an expert that will help you attain success in your business. If you are looking for a reliable and trusted web hosting service, webhostinggeeks is definitely what you are looking for. It is like a one stop shop wherein you can find almost everything you need when it comes to the services you need in web hosting. You can visit their site to get a hang about how it works, there are also lots of tips and information that you can get from them.

The moment I plugged my card reader, I couldn't access the files. A certain flashy folder kept on appearing even though I've already deleted it. hmm. I hope it won't delete the photo files. This already happened a month ago on my flash drive. I couldn't access all the photos anymore, the flash drive has been reformatted already but the flashy folder is still there. How do I fix this?

Today is our last day of work, too bad we didn't get to receive our Christmas bonus. But anyways, there are lots of things to be thankful for. I thank God that this year wasn't that really hard for us. I still have my work though I am getting tired of it. Others are doing their best to find one, I think I need to re-evaluate myself more and should make an analysis of my plans. I need to focus on ataining to fulfill a short term goal first and we'll see and work on the long term ones the next time.

Home Makeover

Husband and I are currently on the process of trying to give our home a new look. You see, it has been sporting the same old look for quite sometime now. Hubby told me that he had already outgrown the same furniture's and appliances we had at home. He had been seeing some of it since he was a kid.

Having the makeover session has been boxed in a while for some financial reasons, but since it's holiday now is the perfect time to go and continue it. We both have plans and carefully taken it one step at a time so as to not make a mistake by choosing less quality products.

We had made canvass on some of furniture stores located at Aurora in San Juan. We even went to different malls to compare notes on the furniture that we want for our house. Some are quite pricey and Husband is not satisfied with their products. I made a research on the net to find some stores offering furniture inspiring eastern styles at LOM BOK. I have seen some nice and classic styles of sofas that is perfect on our living room. I even sported a very nice pair of quilts that fits perfectly on our bed for the master's bedroom. What is left on our list is an armchairs that will go with sofas we had on our second floor's living room area. This site is a big help for someone like us who's having a home makeover for they got all what we need. No sweat and prices are reasonable enough that you could even got less for they have some items on sale.

Still Working

Yeah, still here at the office doing some tasks. Tomorrow is our last day since most of our suppliers are until tomorrow too. We've already received our 13th month pay last Friday but we don't have our bonus yet. I wonder why?! Anyway, my little girl is off to my parents place for a short vacation and to attend a Christmas party of my sister's husband.

Mandaluyong just like other municipalities are joining in the Christmas season's celebration by dressing and putting up some extravagant Christmas lights and decors that catches attention and have some booths and rides for children to enjoy with.

Get Out and Move Easily!

>> 12/21/2008

There are lots of factors to consider whenever one has to move and moving according to some who have experience it claimed that is a one a stressful experience. Who wouldn't be stressed with the necessary things and process to be done when you move right?!

First, packing your goods needs lots of energy to be able to finish it. With tons of clothes, knick-knacks, personal belongings that you wouldn't wanna miss any of them of course. You definitely needs a major seminar for organizing things. LOL! especially if it's fast. Second, with the heavy and your most prized possession such as your appliances and high-tech equipments and last but not the least, your furnitures that have been given by your elders which is quite pricey needs a lot of extra handle of care, right?!

You are in need of a moving company that you can trust and most especially gives you the best deals ever on moving. They must ensure and are worthy of your time and money. moveme.com might be the best answer. They are like a one stop shop store wherein you cn find everything that you need that you don't have to look elsewhere for your other needs. You can find the best removal quotes with them. They are offering 30% off on removals. They will find the best match for your requirements and you can count and put your trust with thems as they are fully licensed and insured, and spcialist depending on what is required for your move. great isn't it?

If you have a small and limited number of things and doesn't require a large moving compny, a man and van is the answer for your needs. It is easier and much more cheaper and will unlikely offer you a packing service and may not ne insured but they can be just as efficient as a removal company when you have less to be moved. With them, moving doesn't have to be such a stressful experience for they will be of great help and eases out your fears and stress of moving.

A New Eyeglasses For Me and Hubby

I've been wearing my eyeglasses for a year now, I've been very careful in handling it as it's quite pricey so I won't be having a hard time buying next time once again. Prescription eyeglasses over our local stores are quite expensive most especially if your buying for a branded one.

Not so long ago, hubby's glasses was broken. He was so disappointed for it is an expensive one. I just told him that I will be looking for some eyeglasses online. Since it's much pretty convenient for us instead of going to local stores. I am so happy to find a nice glasses over the net. I am sure that hubby will be surprise later after I've let him see optical4less.com.

They are offering a lot stylish and trendy eyeglasses but cheap in price for only $15. how's that huh?! I am really amazed for it is way to far from the prices offered at different local stores. Not to mention that the quality of the said products are competitive too. There are lots of perks that you can get once you placed your order from them as they are offering a free shipping worldwide if you order more than one pair, and will even be at you hand in a week ( that was too fast!), you could even see the testimonials of the satisfied and happy customers on their site.

Having this kind of extra ordinary online store is definitely a treasure found. With the many advantages that you can get from them, I am so sure that money spent is definitely a productive and wise spending. I could even buy myself a pair of two. And another two pairs for hubby! LOL.

Monday Updates

Everyone has been in very good mood because of Pacquiao fever! nevertheless, he had really given a good fight! But sad news came upon on showbiz side. The death of a young star Marky Cielo! He is the 3rd Ultimate Sole Survivor of Starstruck(Talent Show) he died at a tender age of 20 years old. So many things ahead of him, high hopes, bright future, good career, but all taken from him in a snap. Oh well, we could never really question God's will. All we could have for him is the great memories and inspiration he left for all of his fans out there.

As for personal tidbits: Ian And I attended christening of a co-worker yesterday at the Globe Telecoms Plaza 2 (Podium), just a stone throws away from the Robinson's Pioneer. Food was great and we went home really full. Celebrant is so cute and welcome to the christian world Matthew Suarez. The place is nice that we had taken some photos at the play and pool area. will share photos we had at the occasion. will try to upload it tonight, and hope to finish the photobook that I've been doing since yesterday.

Regarding the BDJ planner, haven't received it yet. I'm quite dissappointed since the seller told me that I will receive it the following day after I've placed my order. I've called the Air21 and told me that will get to have it within today. Hope it's true.

Our little boy is sick, he has runny nose and cough. maybe it's due to the weather condition, The temparature is quite cold during early morning (dawn). Christmas air is coming and it's 17 days to go and it's the Happiest Season of All!!!

Playing Cards

Playing cards was the favorite thing that my friends do way back then during my college days. Most especially whenever classes got suspended and the rest of the girls ended up in a house of a certain person living near the school. Activities includes endless chit-chats about anything under the sun, Boys, crushes, professors, love life, showbiz gossips, etc. etc. And when everybody is getting bored already, Some will put out their playing cards and will set the moods of the others once again.

I am no good at anything that deals with playing cards, maybe that is why I still don't get lucky at any gambling thingy! The only thing I knew about playing cards is the solitaire. LOL! but it's true. My grand mother taught me how when I was young that is! ahaha. that is why I couldn't relate to my friends then whenever they play poker during those gimmicks sessions, but nevertheless I still do enjoy being with them.

I even remember how they complain that they are not comfortable playing the poker sets since they don't have a decent and nice tables to play on. If only I knew about this american gaming supply back then. I would definitely suggest of buying some quality and comfortable Poker Tables to them. Since It has been a great way to bond with each other might as well invest on this kind of playing gears / furnitures right?!

Wednesday

  • Too busy uploading photos while doing some office works
  • busy going back and forth to the bank doing some errands

Thursday

  • was so pissed off here
  • surf the net as I wanted to shop for some mineral make-up
  • found 2 sites but I prefer the one locally since I couldn't bear to wait some couple of days waiting for my goods to arrive, but the one I have placed my orders on locally haven't replied on me yet so I didn't know the status of my p.o

She told me that I will be receiving it early tomorrow! heee. Have sent an email to Candice about cancelling the reservation I've placed with her. What's good thing about it is that they are accepting Paypal payment though she charged me an extra 2% which didn't matter though since she told me that I will have it early tomorrow!
  • I am now blogging this thing right at this very moment here at the Office! No more pending tasks to do eh!

Where have I been?

>> 12/04/2008

I am just around............

Doing some senseless surfing over the net. ahehe. I am trying to make a photobook and have signed up with artscow! since they are offering a promo wherein you have to only pay for the shipping fee and they do accept paypal payment. But I am having a hard time since I couldn't install the silver lighting software on my computer. I opted to use the free prints instead, but then again my free credits have lapsed already. Haay, I have exhausted so much effort but in the end I have accomplished nothing!

Now I have neglected some of my other duties online and offline world. I even have passed on some blogging tasks because of these things! I am not giving up though but will just do these if I have an extra time that's if I got any. I still have so many pending things to do in the office, I still have to prepare the SSS, philhealth and Pag-Ibig payment which is due early next week. I think I need to clear off my office tasks firsts and will be back on my blogging mode soon.

Spending Wisely On Holiday Season

>> 12/03/2008

No Doubt that Christmas is fast approaching. Christmas songs over the radio, decors everywhere, parties here and there, Christmas bazaars over at different malls and what this entails us to have? lots of Money! LOL! but then, as we all know that we are experiencing some kind of financial crisis not just here in our country but even to some first world country like the U.S as well.

We still wanted to celebrate and enjoy this special season that only comes once in a year. But we have to be extra careful as not to over spend too much and tries to spend only within the limits of our budget. Hubby and I are taking into consideration on cutting down on the not so important expenses we incurred for the gifts. before, we do buy expensive gifts to our god children. Now, I do buy educational gifts instead of buying expensive toys which I think is much better right?!

As for my gift to the husband, I really wanted to buy a new eyeglasses for him since his old one was broken already, he was so disappointed because it was kinda pricey and yet it didn't last that long. It's so nice to know that Zenni optical are offering a prescription eyeglasses for only $8 and can choose from many selection of frames. This is a great find since I can save a lot money and can even buy one for myself too!

Paypal Identity Theft Scam

>> 11/21/2008

Oh my! I almost lost all my paypal earnings due to "Paypal Identity Theft Scam". Good thing I am using Firefox as my browser and so I was given a warning that I am on a page that is already reported as a web forgery! read the rest of the story HERE!

I am now careful each time I do my online activities. and here are some helpful hints if you are being tricked on accessing your paypal account:

7 Warning Signals For a Paypal Identity Theft Scam

Warning sign 1
Quite often you may get emails from paypal asking you to verify your account or, asking you to provide some personal information. This is the first warning signal of Identity theft scam. Never, ever provide any information, because paypal will never request for any personal information from you.

Warning sign 2
The email for account verification, which you get in the name of paypal, will be sent to an email ID which is not in the paypal files.

Warning sign 3
The email uses forged headers. Forged headers are not easy to detect. Check if your email provider has options for blocking forged headers. If not, then ask them if its possible to do so.
Warning sign 4

Paypal will never greet you with ‘Dear Paypal Member’ or ‘Dear Paypal User’. It will always greet you with your name that is registered on the paypal account.

Warning sign 5

The fifth warning sign is the threatening email which might be informing you that paypal is going to suspend your account.

Warning sign 6

Do not click on a link that leads to a non-secure page, with no https and no secured browser, without a padlock in its lower left hand corner.

Warning sign 7

The seventh sign is bad English. Paypal will never use a bad english for communication.

If you observe any of these signs, then beware. It’s quite possible it’s a scam. If you have any kind of suspicion, then contact paypal for assistance.

The only person who you can blame for identity theft is yourself, so make sure that you are “street wise” in terms of online fraud and identity theft.

Jersey For My Boys

>> 11/18/2008

The husband just recently received some collection items from LA Lakers courtesy of her Aunt who just came home for a 3 week vacation in the Philippines. He really liked the sports jersey that he got. Even the little boy got a mascot stuffed toy in sports jersey suit!

This led the husband to find another hobby to get busy with, that is collecting sports jersey from different kind of games, basketball or soccer. Be it local or international team, and he wants also the little boy to wear such kind of jerseys. I on the other hand was asked to to do some searching over the net to find stores who offer quality jerseys.

It's good that I stumble upon NFL Jerseys, They offer high quality materials for the jerseys that they make. Just in time for this Christmas season they are offering a wide variety of NFL kids helmet and uniform sets. Another good thing about their football uniform is that it can be doubled as kids pajamas! They are made of a soft double knit polyester NFL jersey along with double knit polyester pants with elastic waistband and cuff for easiness of wearing. I am sure the little boy will be giddy happy to wear one and pretends to be a good football player. LOL!

Oh?! the forgetful me strikes again! Last night, the husband reminded me of the PTA meeting at 10:30 in the morning. I was like, huh?! It really slip my mind. I thought I could laze around this morning, instead I was really rushing my laundry and woke up as early as 5 a.m. I was done at 9 a.m. thank goodness that I was able to attend the meeting since there are lots of issue to tackle regarding their upcoming christmas programs.

I was kinda busy doing some online window shopping which eats out most of my time since yesterday! hee.. I'm trying to save my PayPal earnings and promised not to withdraw it till next month, just in time to splurge it for Christmas. But shopping online is so tempting! ahehe

I do love the starbucks planner but when I saw the Belle De Jour planner I immediately placed my reservation for it, will just have to deposit the money and wait for the arrival. I so love it's design and the perks that goes with it. It's so chic and sassy!

Playing Deals Online!

>> 11/07/2008

I am not really fond of playing any games. But whenever I hear some people sharing their casino experiences with so much gusto I am having this urge to try it as well. Especially whenever they talk about Las Vegas and Macau which is haven for the casino lovers. But then, I couldn't afford those expensive hotels and places who hosts casinos by this time. Good thing I found this Casino online! wherein playing their Roulette really seems interesting for me to try! it's so easy for beginners like me because they have visual instructions for a quick and easy way to learn how to play popular casino games.

It's such a user friendly site wherein you can really learn so much and end up playing like a Pro in the long run. They have so many lots of treats to offer wherein you will be able to get hand of playing like a real deal casino. Another good point about them is that it is online. You can play at the comfort of your own home. So the expenses intended for your trip to Las Vegas will be added up for your capital for bets huh! they have this free slots with cash prizes :)

Oh btw, this site is in German language. You can check out their sister website HERE if you're having difficulty understanding German like I do! LOL!

Friendship Flower Tag

>> 11/05/2008

It's been awhile since I last received a Tag! Thanks Eds!

This tag is all about "FRIENDSHIP OFFERING" with someone whom you know, to someone whom you already knew or will know in the future, globally.

::: Start copying here:::

Here are the rules for this tag;

1.) Copy the badge and put it on your blog,
2.) Link back who pass you this tag,
3.) Spread this tag to at least 7 or more bloggers who you think you are friend with.

”And lovely are the blossoms
That are tended with great care,
By those who work unselfishly
To make the place more fair.
And, like the garden blossoms,
Friendship's flower grows more sweet
When watched and tended carefully
By those we know and meet.
And, if the seed of friendship
Is planted deep and true
And watched with understanding,
Friendship's flower will bloom for you. “

Passing this on to: Wheng, Anygen, Soreal, Ems, Mich, Jhona, Nancy and Tet.
