Wednesday

• Absent from work... texted the boss that I am going for for a scheduled check-up. VERY BAD!
  
• laundry clothes
• Went to Megamall and bought slippers and Sandals for the kiddos
  
• Gia (Ian's Niece) won 1st prize in a Korean Speech contest in U.P she bagged P8,o0o Cash and 3-month trip to Korea for a scholarship all expense paid. heee.
  
• Dinner celebration and had Sinigang na Baboy, Palabok, Ice cream!!!

Thursday

• Back to work again!!! My other boss asked me, "Bakit ka absent kahapon?! I said, Nagpacheck up po ako. Eh bakit di ka tumawag?! Sir nagtext ako kay Sir M.! Ah ok!
• update my blogs and cleared my blogging tasks! kasi wala ako tasks to do! nyahaha. boooo!
• The little girl got 0/15 in her math exams. :( she forgot daw the Before and After numbers
• Bad news about the Mumbai India Terrorist Attack
  
• Slept early around 8:00 p.m

Friday

• Gabby is sick and has bad cough this morning, We decide not to let her go to school though she insist!
  
• Hoorray! it's the last day of work and all the bosses are not around
  
• sweldo day!
• lots of blogging and internet hours here at the office
• collection follow up and payroll done. hee
• bank transactions done too.

It's a non working holiday on Monday. Meaning more time to laze around this weekend..yey!

Bonding Moments

This was taken last Tuesday night (phone cam) when we had our dinner at the nearest Jollibee in our place. Notice kiddos are wearing their pambahay. LOL! Nicco only had his Sundae twirl and didn't eat his spaghetti as he was so excited to go into the play area. When I call them up to say that we're going home, Gabby said "Mama, picture!!!" and immediately strike a pose. Ang arte na talaga ng batang ito!!! ahaha...

Monday Sickness

....... I am so lazy to get up from bed this morning. I just want to laze around and stay home. But hubby has been waking me up twice already. Reminding me of things to do! I need to fix Gabby's school things and her baon. I need to fix mine too as to get early and beat traffic on my way to the office.

I just punched in at exactly 8:04 a.m this morning. I am not late,just perfectly in time. I feel oh so low on a Monday morning. There are lot's of paper on my table and sticky notes everywhere from my boss asking me to do this and do that. I went to the bank twice already this morning and will return after lunch for another series of bank transactions.

All I want is to surf the net and blog. I wanna go home and sleep again. OH!!! I am so tired. I think I need a break...

Paypal Identity Theft Scam

Oh my! I almost lost all my paypal earnings due to "Paypal Identity Theft Scam". Good thing I am using Firefox as my browser and so I was given a warning that I am on a page that is already reported as a web forgery! read the rest of the story HERE!

I am now careful each time I do my online activities. and here are some helpful hints if you are being tricked on accessing your paypal account:

7 Warning Signals For a Paypal Identity Theft Scam

Warning sign 1
Quite often you may get emails from paypal asking you to verify your account or, asking you to provide some personal information. This is the first warning signal of Identity theft scam. Never, ever provide any information, because paypal will never request for any personal information from you.

Warning sign 2
The email for account verification, which you get in the name of paypal, will be sent to an email ID which is not in the paypal files.

Warning sign 3
The email uses forged headers. Forged headers are not easy to detect. Check if your email provider has options for blocking forged headers. If not, then ask them if its possible to do so.

Warning sign 4

Paypal will never greet you with ‘Dear Paypal Member’ or ‘Dear Paypal User’. It will always greet you with your name that is registered on the paypal account.

Warning sign 5

The fifth warning sign is the threatening email which might be informing you that paypal is going to suspend your account.

Warning sign 6

Do not click on a link that leads to a non-secure page, with no https and no secured browser, without a padlock in its lower left hand corner.

Warning sign 7

The seventh sign is bad English. Paypal will never use a bad english for communication.

If you observe any of these signs, then beware. It’s quite possible it’s a scam. If you have any kind of suspicion, then contact paypal for assistance.

The only person who you can blame for identity theft is yourself, so make sure that you are “street wise” in terms of online fraud and identity theft.

After 49 years, I was able to resized and uploaded all the photos taken last week during the 1st year death anniversary of my FIL. LOL! it really gave me a hard time and worst is I've lost all my files on my USB flash drive. Our computer at home has tons of viruses in it and badly needs reformat. Arrghhh.. Jersey For My Boys

The husband just recently received some collection items from LA Lakers courtesy of her Aunt who just came home for a 3 week vacation in the Philippines. He really liked the sports jersey that he got. Even the little boy got a mascot stuffed toy in sports jersey suit!

This led the husband to find another hobby to get busy with, that is collecting sports jersey from different kind of games, basketball or soccer. Be it local or international team, and he wants also the little boy to wear such kind of jerseys. I on the other hand was asked to to do some searching over the net to find stores who offer quality jerseys.

It's good that I stumble upon NFL Jerseys, They offer high quality materials for the jerseys that they make. Just in time for this Christmas season they are offering a wide variety of NFL kids helmet and uniform sets. Another good thing about their football uniform is that it can be doubled as kids pajamas! They are made of a soft double knit polyester NFL jersey along with double knit polyester pants with elastic waistband and cuff for easiness of wearing. I am sure the little boy will be giddy happy to wear one and pretends to be a good football player. LOL!

A quick peek here...

Just got home from attending my daughter's PTA meeting and distribution of report card. I wasn't able to include this in my To Do's list yesterday because I forgot that they have a meeting. Oh?! the forgetful me strikes again! Last night, the husband reminded me of the PTA meeting at 10:30 in the morning. I was like, huh?! It really slip my mind. I thought I could laze around this morning, instead I was really rushing my laundry and woke up as early as 5 a.m. I was done at 9 a.m. thank goodness that I was able to attend the meeting since there are lots of issue to tackle regarding their upcoming christmas programs.

Later this afternoon we are going to attend a mass intended for the 1 year death anniversary of Ian's Dad. My FIL. I hope wherever he is now, he is at peace and in loveing arms of our dear beloved Lord. We are missing you so much Daddy!

Quick Update

I was kinda busy doing some online window shopping which eats out most of my time since yesterday! hee.. I'm trying to save my PayPal earnings and promised not to withdraw it till next month, just in time to splurge it for Christmas. But shopping online is so tempting! ahehe

I do love the starbucks planner but when I saw the Belle De Jour planner I immediately placed my reservation for it, will just have to deposit the money and wait for the arrival. I so love it's design and the perks that goes with it. It's so chic and sassy!

We are now here in my parents place. Done with some of my to-do's as i have previously blogged . My boys will have to go home tonight as there will be a party at our house in Mandaluyong. Munchy Popcorns

I miss popcorn so much. I think I had eaten one a year ago when I last saw a movie at the mall with the hubby! and whenever our two kids saw a popcorn carts at the mall makes them giddy happy as well. with different flavors popping out in the market, I must say that pop corn in gift tins are the ones that catches my attention. It gave me a great idea to buy many of these as gifts to children who will ask presents this Christmas as tins are made perfect as gift packages. Popcorns are not just good for young ones but to not so young ones as well! hee..

Zenni Optical On Fox News!

As I have previously said that I need new eyeglasses since my eyes' grade are no longer compatible with my eyeglasses that I'm wearing now. I've been having the symptoms of dizziness and eye fatigue. I have searched the net to find Great Eyeglasses For Less and I feel so lucky to find Variable Dimension Frames From Zenni which are so cheap and made of quality materials for only $8. See the photo at the bottom for the frame I want. That was a catch! It is good thing for it is online and no middlemen to deal with. And I was also surprised to find out that Zenni Optical was on FOX news! as I have been checking the news update over the net, I felt relieved and safe to find Zenni on Fox.

They said that If you want to do something, then do it now. not later! not tonight or tomorrow!
